In the 5th minute Teodor Huștea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Siadbei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vintilă Scripcaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florin Cărtărescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurel Chivulescu in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Siadbei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Ursicse's zone, Vintilă Scripcaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Cărtărescu came out of the goal and Vintilă Scripcaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodor Huștea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Teodor Huștea sped through UFC Panticesti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrei Siadbei. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Siadbei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute Aurel Chivulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Siadbei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Chivulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrei Siadbei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurel Chivulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Aurel Chivulescu put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Andrei Siadbei. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodor Huștea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to UFC Panticesti getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sorin Colceriu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in UFC Panticesti's zone, Tudor Bota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrei Siadbei came out of the goal and Tudor Bota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, UFC Panticesti's goalkeeper Andrei Siadbei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurel Chivulescu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodor Huștea in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Siadbei saved UFC Panticesti from getting behind. The supporters of Ursicse booed when UFC Panticesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Bleoancă didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by UFC Panticesti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tudor Bota was slow to take the kick. During this time Ursicse's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ursicse's Tudor Bota to fire away a dangerous shot which Andrei Siadbei despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Andrei Siadbei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Huștea in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Aurel Chivulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ursicse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Andrei Siadbei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Huștea, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Stelian Bleoancă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodor Huștea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th match minute, UFC Panticesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Mercea to maneuver through the defense. Martin Aaxiniei kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Vintilă Scripcaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, UFC Panticesti's Andrei Siadbei got control of the ball when Aurel Chivulescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Aurel Chivulescu came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ursicse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurel Chivulescu couldn't finish the play. Andrei Siadbei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Huștea in the 88th minute of play. Andrei Siadbei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurel Chivulescu went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When the match was over Ursicse could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than UFC Panticesti throughout the match.
