Andrei Siadbei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Şerb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigi Agud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Şerb in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Denis Şerb made a precise shot to the right of Gigi Agud. P.S.C. BOYS PASCANI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, UFC Panticesti's Dinu Iureș got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, P.S.C. BOYS PASCANI's Mihail Cotoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrei Siadbei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matei Colin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Mihail Cotoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrei Siadbei was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mihail Cotoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrei Siadbei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihail Cotoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcu Şerb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Siadbei having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, UFC Panticesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Mercea to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Luca Darabonț managed to get in a good position for a shot. P.S.C. BOYS PASCANI's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Darabonț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrei Siadbei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 played minutes UFC Panticesti got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Popoacă. When Codruț Țepelea fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored P.S.C. BOYS PASCANI's protests and gave Codruț Țepelea a yellow card for diving instead. Vintilă Scripcaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

A hard shot 54 in the game by Denis Şerb from a close distance when the talented Gigi Agud managed to make a qualified save. P.S.C. BOYS PASCANI's players were relieved. In the 55th minute, Dacian Toma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Gigi Agud successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aurel Stârcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vintilă Scripcaru struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Gigi Agud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UFC Panticesti. UFC Panticesti's Andrei Siadbei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Cotoi in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute Mihail Cotoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Siadbei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind UFC Panticesti's goalkeeper Andrei Siadbei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. P.S.C. BOYS PASCANI's Marcu Şerb got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 played minutes UFC Panticesti got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Popoacă. Andrei Siadbei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcu Şerb, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Mihail Cotoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
