Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mihnea Barbăsură made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 played minutes UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Curăreanu. When Mineu's Lázaro Odon in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA's goalie prevented a goal. After 5 played minutes UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Barbăsură. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Corocăescu during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, one of Mineu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mineu. Emanuel Hrebenciuc had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Valeriu Macavei's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mineu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valeriu Macavei was slow to take the kick. During this time UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA's players had a chance to rest. 16 minutes into the game, Mineu's Lázaro Odon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliodor Pietreanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Cezar Mitescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezar Mitescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Hrebenciuc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iustinian Aldulea kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Vasilescu in the 23rd minute of play forced Mineu's goalkeeper Emanuel Hrebenciuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucrețiu Latarețu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Aurel Geambașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Pietreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezar Mitescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Emanuel Hrebenciuc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mineu getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Iustinian Aldulea hit a great ball. Eugen Chifan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eliodor Pietreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurel Geambașu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Eliodor Pietreanu made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lázaro Odon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eliodor Pietreanu came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Mineu's Augustin Bărbătescu. But to his dismay, Augustin Bărbătescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 58th minute, Felix Corocăescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Odon came free, but Eliodor Pietreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, Mineu's Lázaro Odon made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliodor Pietreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute Lázaro Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Pietreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliodor Pietreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Geambașu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA's zone, Iustinian Aldulea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliodor Pietreanu came out of the goal and Iustinian Aldulea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute Lázaro Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Pietreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Mineu's Aurel Geambașu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliodor Pietreanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 93 minutes into the match, UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Bărbătescu came free, but Eliodor Pietreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
