Ursicse's Teodor Huștea got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 5 played minutes F.C.Juventus Bacau got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Bosânceanu. F.C.Juventus Bacau's Toader Miroiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save F.C.Juventus Bacau from getting a goal against them. Marcel Bosânceanu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Toader Miroiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Huștea, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ursicse's Aurel Chivulescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Toader Miroiu. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Toader Miroiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Huștea, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 25 minutes into the match, F.C.Juventus Bacau's goalkeeper Toader Miroiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurel Chivulescu. Toader Miroiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Huștea in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Aurel Chivulescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toader Miroiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Florei in the 51st minute of the match. Teodor Huștea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Miroiu having to interfere. Aurel Chivulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Toader Miroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurel Chivulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Miroiu having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Lucian Contra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.Juventus Bacau's zone, Teodor Huștea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toader Miroiu came out of the goal and Teodor Huștea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Teofil charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Teofil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leonard Teofil kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Horaţiu Huțanu's late challenge caught a Ursicse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horaţiu Huțanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Horaţiu Huțanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurel Chivulescu struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Toader Miroiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ursicse. In the 76th minute, Teodor Huștea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toader Miroiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgil Tăgorean got free with Florin Cărtărescu in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toader Miroiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Chivulescu in the 88th minute of play. When Aurel Chivulescu came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ursicse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurel Chivulescu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Huștea in the 93rd minute of play forced F.C.Juventus Bacau's goalkeeper Toader Miroiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Teodor Huștea fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ursicse's protests and gave Teodor Huștea a yellow card for diving instead.
