Gavril Hulubei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustinian Aldulea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Aurel Geambașu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gavril Hulubei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aurel Geambașu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gavril Hulubei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Eugen Chifan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gavril Hulubei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Chifan in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Robert Iovulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Aurel Geambașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Hulubei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Lázaro Odon sped through SR Brasov's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gavril Hulubei. After 38 played minutes Mineu got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Bărbătescu. Emanuel Hrebenciuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Lucescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Gavril Hulubei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustinian Aldulea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Hrebenciuc made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Petre Lucescu sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lázaro Odon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gavril Hulubei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Odon, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Gavril Hulubei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustinian Aldulea in the 64th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, SR Brasov's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Aldulea came free, but Gavril Hulubei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mineu booed when SR Brasov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Iovulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lázaro Odon struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gavril Hulubei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mineu. 79 minutes into the game, Vlad Baldazar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SR Brasov's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mineu the free kick. In the 79th match minute, SR Brasov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlad Baldazar to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lázaro Odon in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavril Hulubei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gavril Hulubei made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Aurel Geambașu sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, SR Brasov's Gavril Hulubei got control of the ball when Lázaro Odon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mineu's Lázaro Odon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gavril Hulubei. That made the score 0-3 after 93 minutes of play. The SR Brasov fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mineu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
