A collision led to Secueni getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ferdinand Nichitelea hit a great ball. Adrian Vătăşel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dragoş Ciungu went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Anghelescu in the 19th minute of play forced F.C.Steaua Mogo's goalkeeper Iustinian Arapașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iulian Ştiubei's late challenge caught a Secueni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iulian Ştiubei helped the player get up and apologised. Iulian Ştiubei hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. F.C.Steaua Mogo's Iustinian Arapașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Anghelescu in the 27th minute of play. Iustinian Arapașu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iacob Anghelescu in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, F.C.Steaua Mogo's goalkeeper Iustinian Arapașu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iacob Anghelescu. Iustinian Arapașu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Mironescu in the 95th minute of the match. Iacob Anghelescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Iustinian Arapașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Secueni's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
