When Edgar Basarabescu fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Real Brasov's protests and gave Edgar Basarabescu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Real Brasov getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Edgar Basarabescu hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Bobei in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Mirciulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute of the game, Octav Boc landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 34 minutes, Ivan Busuioc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Real Brasov and the Cricau players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivan Busuioc hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Cătălin Nenciu, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Emil Bobei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Real Brasov's Gabriel Mirciulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Ion Zeciu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cricau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ion Zeciu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Codruț Lobonț to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ion Zeciu in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 54th minute, Narcis Barbosu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Cricau's Narcis Barbosu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Mirciulescu. Gabriel Mirciulescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Narcis Barbosu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gabriel Mirciulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Emil Bobei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Mirciulescu was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Real Brasov's Victor Doloman got a free kick in the 64th minute. Gabriel Mirciulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Bobei in the 69th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Bobei in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Mirciulescu saved FC Real Brasov from getting behind. Cezar Pașcalău could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Gabriel Mirciulescu made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ion Zeciu got free with Gabriel Mirciulescu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The FC Real Brasov fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cricau were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
