But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sever Popovici couldn't finish the play. If Petre Agusoaei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Neculce during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, one of FCSB:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FCSB. Petre Agusoaei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Buta having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Blandesti UFC's Filip Ghiciușca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rareș Negru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blandesti UFC's goalkeeper Adrian Buta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filip Ghiciușca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rareș Negru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. When Horia Ignătoiu fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blandesti UFC's protests and gave Horia Ignătoiu a yellow card for diving instead. After 37th play minutes Filip Ghiciușca shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Rareș Negru and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Ghiciușca in the 43rd minute of play forced FCSB's goalkeeper Rareș Negru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Avram Ghioane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Buta was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filip Ghiciușca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petre Agusoaei struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Adrian Buta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCSB. Avram Ghioane was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rareș Negru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blandesti UFC's Horia Ignătoiu got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Horia Ignătoiu off the ground. Avram Ghioane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Buta having to interfere. Avram Ghioane succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-2 in the 74th playminute. Rareș Negru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Popovici, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Blandesti UFC's Filip Ghiciușca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rareș Negru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Blandesti UFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FCSB for a fine match.
