Alin Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costin Moldoveanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 20 minutes into the game, Denis Bejgăneanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Costică Porumbescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the game, Mihăiţă Zgabei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pink Angels's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alin Fc the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Pink Angels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Zgabei to maneuver through the defense. Costică Porumbescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Moldoveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Dorin Dragomir made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Paul Grama sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Astafiei in the 43rd minute of play forced Pink Angels's goalkeeper Dorin Dragomir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Alin Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pink Angels were winning 0-3.

Denis Bejgăneanu took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Costică Porumbescu. Costică Porumbescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Bejgăneanu got free with Costică Porumbescu in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costică Porumbescu made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Denis Bejgăneanu sent off a good shot on target. Romeo Bratiloveanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costică Porumbescu having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Alin Fc lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
