Spectators: 5818 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Toader Fânaru started the match with the kick off. Toader Fânaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Dacian Vrejiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. DinamoStars's supporters rose to their feet, but Dacian Vrejiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Filimon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the game, Covasna's Francisc Pantelimon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Obregia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Robert Filimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Vrejiu in the 23rd minute of play. When Toader Fânaru came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the DinamoStars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toader Fânaru couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in DinamoStars's zone, Francisc Pantelimon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Obregia came out of the goal and Francisc Pantelimon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Obregia came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Covasna's Olimpiu Ciobanu. But to his dismay, Olimpiu Ciobanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Felix Obregia made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Francisc Pantelimon sent off a good shot on target. Francisc Pantelimon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Obregia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DinamoStars's Filip Encuțescu got a free kick in the 46th minute. Florin Rizescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Obregia having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisc Pantelimon to strike the kick off in the second half. 70 minutes into the match, Covasna's goalkeeper Robert Filimon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dacian Vrejiu. Robert Filimon had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Toader Fânaru from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 75 played minutes Covasna got a freekick which was hit by Francisc Pantelimon. Dacian Vrejiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Robert Filimon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dacian Vrejiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Robert Filimon made a huge save. Felix Obregia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisc Pantelimon in the 86th minute of the match. Francisc Pantelimon might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Obregia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisc Pantelimon ran back to his position shaking his head. Florin Rizescu took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Obregia. Felix Obregia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Covasna players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
