With a little luck, Zorlincior's Mass Panico got control of the ball when Afonsinho Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Zorlincior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irinel Vancea to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Alex Team MZ booed when Zorlincior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Vancea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Claudiu Urdăreanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alex Team MZ's Marian Gavruță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Akis Symeonatos in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mass Panico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afonsinho Mangueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Mass Panico made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Alex Team MZ's Ilie Uncuţă got a free kick in the 30th minute. Mass Panico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akis Symeonatos in the 32nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Mass Panico successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduard Hrandabur during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zorlincior getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Eduard Hrandabur hit a great ball. A hard shot 35 in the game by Afonsinho Mangueira from a close distance when the talented Mass Panico managed to make a qualified save. Zorlincior's players were relieved. If Claudiu Urdăreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonsinho Mangueira was the one to do the kick off. Afonsinho Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Team MZ's Marian Gavruță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Urdăreanu in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Alex Team MZ's zone, Ilie Burghelea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Gavruță came out of the goal and Ilie Burghelea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cezar Comișel kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Ilie Burghelea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Gavruță having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Alex Team MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Comișel to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Claudiu Urdăreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Gavruță was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Alex Team MZ's Marian Gavruță proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Alex Team MZ from getting a goal against them. If Ilie Burghelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mass Panico moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. Zorlincior's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
