Spectators: 7596 (Terracing: 5698, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) F.C.Dacii's Ionică Poplăcan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes, Ioan Tomoioagă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sudrigi and the F.C.Dacii players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Sudrigi got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Tomoioagă. After 8 minutes, Ionică Poplăcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C.Dacii and the Sudrigi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, F.C.Dacii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Poplăcan to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, George Pânzariu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 played minutes Sudrigi got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Șişman. Sorin Șişman hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Bondrea in the 24th minute of play forced Sudrigi's goalkeeper Cazimir Angheloiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavel Harnagea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nechifor Ştefănoiu in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Sudrigi's goal looked a bit too open when Ionică Poplăcan came free, but Cazimir Angheloiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to F.C.Dacii getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ionică Poplăcan hit a great ball. Ovidiu Bondrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cazimir Angheloiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

George Pânzariu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Harnagea having to interfere. Sudrigi's Cazimir Angheloiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Sudrigi from getting a goal against them. When Călin Pătrașcu came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the F.C.Dacii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Călin Pătrașcu couldn't finish the play. Ovidiu Bondrea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Cazimir Angheloiu made a huge save. In the 66th minute, Radu Caramarin made a precise shot to the right of Cazimir Angheloiu. Sudrigi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 71 minutes of play Sudrigi's Ioan Tomoioagă was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of F.C.Dacii booed when Sudrigi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ioan Tomoioagă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Gică Ştirbu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cazimir Angheloiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Călin Pătrașcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidiu Bondrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cazimir Angheloiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of F.C.Dacii booed when Sudrigi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Șişman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidiu Bondrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute, Manole Lamru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ovidiu Bondrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cazimir Angheloiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vintilă Covaci's late challenge caught a F.C.Dacii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vintilă Covaci helped the player get up and apologised. Vintilă Covaci kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Călin Pătrașcu managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.Dacii's supporters rose to their feet, but Călin Pătrașcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cazimir Angheloiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cazimir Angheloiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manole Lamru in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sudrigi's goalkeeper Cazimir Angheloiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manole Lamru struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Cazimir Angheloiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.Dacii. Manole Lamru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If George Pânzariu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded F.C.Dacii left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sudrigi.
