Cornetu CS's Mihnea Erbașu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Cornetu CS from getting a goal against them. Ionel Aanuţei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, FC MIOVENI's Mihnea Erbașu threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iosif Şimoc, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 14th minute, Răzvan Micescu had to leave the field with a concussion. When Ionel Aanuţei fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cornetu CS's protests and gave Ionel Aanuţei a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cornetu CS's Ionel Aanuţei got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Ionel Aanuţei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dacian Panțuru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Minteuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Puiu in the 24th minute of play forced FC MIOVENI's goalkeeper Dacian Panțuru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Aron Bocșa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusebiu Puiu scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dacian Panțuru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Iustinian Todea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dacian Panțuru was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. A collision led to FC MIOVENI getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Nechifor Bârsan hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Puiu notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC MIOVENI's Dacian Panțuru. Dacian Panțuru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eusebiu Puiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Panțuru having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Ionel Aanuţei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Dacian Panțuru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FC MIOVENI getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Marcu Maftei hit a great ball. Dacian Panțuru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Puiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Iustinian Todea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC MIOVENI's Dacian Panțuru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Iustinian Todea sped through FC MIOVENI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dacian Panțuru. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcu Gârbovan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Iustinian Todea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cornetu CS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Eusebiu Puiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Panțuru having to interfere. Eduard Ostoici charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduard Ostoici the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eduard Ostoici kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Eric Minteuan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cornetu CS's Eusebiu Puiu got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebiu Puiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dacian Panțuru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebiu Puiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Iustinian Todea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornetu CS's Eric Minteuan got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dacian Panțuru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Minteuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Eric Minteuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebiu Puiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iustinian Todea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Dacian Panțuru made a huge save. Dacian Panțuru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iustinian Todea went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. When Ionel Aanuţei came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Cornetu CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionel Aanuţei couldn't finish the play. After 87 played minutes FC MIOVENI got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Maftei. After having played for 90 minutes, Eric Minteuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cornetu CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Minteuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
