When Iustinian Todea came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Cornetu CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustinian Todea couldn't finish the play. Ionică Poplăcan scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihnea Erbașu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Călin Pătrașcu in the 19th minute of play forced Cornetu CS's goalkeeper Mihnea Erbașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Ovidiu Bondrea made a precise shot to the right of Mihnea Erbașu. Cornetu CS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Pavel Harnagea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Todea, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Marian Ursulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Ovidiu Bondrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Mihnea Erbașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Cornetu CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Aanuţei to maneuver through the defense. Ovidiu Bondrea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mihnea Erbașu came out and tried to block the shot, but Ovidiu Bondrea slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 94th minute.
