Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iosif Şimoc took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Mugur Nițisor could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Dacian Panțuru however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of FC MIOVENI booed when Granari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Mazilu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mugur Nițisor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Zdrehuş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dacian Panțuru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Răzvan Micescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC MIOVENI and the Granari players grew even worse after the yellow card. Granari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugur Nițisor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Zdrehuş stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Micescu in the 51st minute of play forced Granari's goalkeeper Grigore Nenițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nechifor Bârsan in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grigore Nenițescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 56 played minutes, FC MIOVENI's Marcu Maftei shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Grigore Nenițescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC MIOVENI reached it. Marcu Gârbovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Granari's Valeriu Angheluță got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute Iosif Şimoc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Nenițescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Granari's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Şimoc came free, but Grigore Nenițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC MIOVENI's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
