Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Grigore Nenițescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionică Poplăcan's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Ovidiu Bondrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigore Nenițescu having to interfere. In the 13th minute of the match Ferdinand Bălcescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pavel Harnagea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Edgar Zdrehuş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, F.C.Dacii's Ionică Poplăcan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Ovidiu Bondrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionică Poplăcan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. F.C.Dacii's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pavel Harnagea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Zdrehuş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Călin Pătrașcu's late challenge caught a Granari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Călin Pătrașcu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Călin Pătrașcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pavel Harnagea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Nițisor, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Ovidiu Bondrea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grigore Nenițescu made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ovidiu Bondrea sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the game, F.C.Dacii's Ionică Poplăcan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grigore Nenițescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Ionică Poplăcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigore Nenițescu having to interfere. If Ionică Poplăcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Zdrehuş was the one to do the kick off. After 65th play minutes Ovidiu Bondrea shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Grigore Nenițescu and just under the crossbar into goal. Granari's Mugur Nițisor got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Călin Pătrașcu kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Ferdinand Bălcescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and F.C.Dacii's Pavel Harnagea didn't even have to move. Ionică Poplăcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Edgar Zdrehuş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Roşulescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Grigore Nenițescu. Granari's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Grigore Nenițescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidiu Bondrea's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ovidiu Bondrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.Dacii's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidiu Bondrea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigore Nenițescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grigore Nenițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Poplăcan in the 92nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Granari's zone, Ovidiu Bondrea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grigore Nenițescu came out of the goal and Ovidiu Bondrea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Ionică Poplăcan notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Granari's Grigore Nenițescu. Grigore Nenițescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
