Mihnea Erbașu was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC CFR Cluj's Eusebiu Pârvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Puiu in the 26th minute of play. Toader Nedelea scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihnea Erbașu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusebiu Pârvan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cornetu CS's Iustinian Todea shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Robert Enciu put in a rough tackle. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristi Zafiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Iustinian Todea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cornetu CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustinian Todea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebiu Pârvan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Radu Melinescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes, Bogdan Neacșu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cornetu CS and the FC CFR Cluj players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in FC CFR Cluj's zone, Iustinian Todea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebiu Pârvan came out of the goal and Iustinian Todea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cornetu CS's Mihnea Erbașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristi Zafiu in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to FC CFR Cluj getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Denis Duca hit a great ball. Many of Cornetu CS's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Cornetu CS may have spent more time on the ball, but FC CFR Cluj were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
