Spectators: 7564 (Terracing: 5674, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stelian Pivniceru started the match with the kick off. 0-1 became the score in the 20th minute when Ionică Poplăcan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ovidiu Bondrea struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Irinel Malcoci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.Dacii. After 24 played minutes Corsarii Tycalosi got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Pâslaru. F.C.Dacii's Ovidiu Bondrea got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ionică Poplăcan took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irinel Malcoci. Irinel Malcoci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Călin Pătrașcu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Stelian Pivniceru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corsarii Tycalosi's supporters rose to their feet, but Stelian Pivniceru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Harnagea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliodor Dindelegan during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eliodor Dindelegan hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ovidiu Bondrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Ionică Poplăcan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C.Dacii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The supporters of Corsarii Tycalosi booed when F.C.Dacii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionică Poplăcan didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ionică Poplăcan to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ovidiu Bondrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.Dacii's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidiu Bondrea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Irinel Malcoci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionică Poplăcan in the 57th minute of play forced Corsarii Tycalosi's goalkeeper Irinel Malcoci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ovidiu Bondrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Ionică Poplăcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Amarandei's late challenge caught a F.C.Dacii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Amarandei helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Corsarii Tycalosi got a freekick which was hit by Martin Amarandei. Irinel Malcoci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Poplăcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A hard shot 78 in the game by Ovidiu Bondrea from a close distance when the talented Irinel Malcoci managed to make a qualified save. Corsarii Tycalosi's players were relieved. Gică Ştirbu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Irinel Malcoci. Corsarii Tycalosi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Irinel Malcoci acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gică Ştirbu. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Ionică Poplăcan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ionică Poplăcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Irinel Malcoci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
