Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iosif Şimoc took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to F.C.Dacii getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Daniel Roşulescu hit a great ball. Ovidiu Bondrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Panțuru having to interfere. Ovidiu Bondrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dacian Panțuru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC MIOVENI's zone, Ionică Poplăcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dacian Panțuru came out of the goal and Ionică Poplăcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FC MIOVENI booed when F.C.Dacii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionică Poplăcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Panțuru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Poplăcan in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ionică Poplăcan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dacian Panțuru was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. If Ovidiu Bondrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionică Poplăcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ovidiu Bondrea in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dacian Panțuru saved FC MIOVENI from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, F.C.Dacii's Ionică Poplăcan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dacian Panțuru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th match minute, F.C.Dacii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Călin Pătrașcu to maneuver through the defense. Ionică Poplăcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Panțuru having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

FC MIOVENI's Dacian Panțuru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Poplăcan in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC MIOVENI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gică Ştirbu was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C.Dacii's players had a chance to rest. 55 minutes into the match, F.C.Dacii's goal looked a bit too open when Marcu Gârbovan came free, but Pavel Harnagea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcu Gârbovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pavel Harnagea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidiu Bondrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alin Mălaimare fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC MIOVENI's protests and gave Alin Mălaimare a yellow card for diving instead. Dacian Panțuru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Poplăcan in the 70th minute of the match. Marcu Gârbovan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pavel Harnagea having to make a save. Pavel Harnagea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Şimoc in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Ionică Poplăcan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dacian Panțuru. Ionică Poplăcan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Marcu Gârbovan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Dorel Ştefulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ovidiu Bondrea came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the F.C.Dacii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidiu Bondrea couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute Iosif Şimoc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Harnagea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC MIOVENI fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. F.C.Dacii were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
