Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eusebiu Puiu kicked off to start the match. Ionel Aanuţei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolae Chirnoagă having to interfere. In the 7thth minute of the game Cazimir Mândrilă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pivniceni's Nicolae Chirnoagă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute, Tudor Feroiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Urduban fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pivniceni's protests and gave Daniel Urduban a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pivniceni getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihnea Erbașu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mihnea Erbașu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Urduban, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th match minute, Cornetu CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Aanuţei to maneuver through the defense. Eusebiu Puiu's late challenge caught a Pivniceni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebiu Puiu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Eusebiu Puiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornetu CS's Mihnea Erbașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Flintașu in the 43rd minute of play. Teodor Zbora kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Cazimir Mândrilă's late challenge caught a Pivniceni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cazimir Mândrilă helped the player get up and apologised. The wind increased when Leontin Pârcălab made the kick off in the second half. In the 79th minute, Eusebiu Puiu made a precise shot to the right of Nicolae Chirnoagă. Pivniceni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With an all-out effort, Pivniceni's Mihnea Erbașu threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Petre Sucigan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pivniceni's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cornetu CS were furious when Robert Enciu was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.
