Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edgar Zdrehuş took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Cristian Mircescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granari and the Pivniceni players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Mircescu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Grigore Nenițescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leontin Pârcălab, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Grigore Nenițescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leontin Pârcălab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pivniceni's Leontin Pârcălab got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Leontin Pârcălab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pivniceni's supporters rose to their feet, but Leontin Pârcălab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigore Nenițescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leontin Pârcălab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Petre Sucigan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pivniceni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granari the free kick. The supporters of Granari booed when Pivniceni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petre Sucigan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Granari's Panait Miron got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Grigore Nenițescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leontin Pârcălab went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Pivniceni's Tudor Feroiu in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Granari's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The wind increased when Leontin Pârcălab made the kick off in the second half. Granari's Grigore Nenițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Pârcălab in the 53rd minute of play. Nicolae Chirnoagă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Nițisor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leontin Pârcălab might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grigore Nenițescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leontin Pârcălab ran back to his position shaking his head. Tudor Feroiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Grigore Nenițescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Granari's zone, Tudor Feroiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grigore Nenițescu came out of the goal and Tudor Feroiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pivniceni's Tudor Feroiu got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Granari getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Valeriu Angheluță hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Daniel Urduban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Urduban got free with Grigore Nenițescu in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grigore Nenițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Pârcălab in the 81st minute of play. Pivniceni's Nicolae Chirnoagă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Nițisor in the 83rd minute of play. Grigore Nenițescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leontin Pârcălab's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Pivniceni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tudor Feroiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mugur Nițisor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mugur Nițisor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pivniceni's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
