Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eusebiu Puiu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mihnea Erbașu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Chivulescu in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Mateescu in the 5th minute of play forced Cornetu CS's goalkeeper Mihnea Erbașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narcis Sârban charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narcis Sârban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hlincea's Joel Runberg got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Sebastian Frențiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hlincea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cornetu CS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hlincea's Sebastian Frențiu got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Eusebiu Puiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Octav Mateescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hlincea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ionel Aanuţei hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Lorenz Rehm made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Cazimir Mândrilă sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Ionel Aanuţei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenz Rehm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hlincea's Lorenz Rehm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Puiu in the 31st minute of play. Hlincea's Lorenz Rehm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Hlincea from getting a goal against them. Lorenz Rehm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Puiu in the 35th minute of play. Ionel Aanuţei struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Lorenz Rehm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cornetu CS. The Cornetu CS fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Cornetu CS's Iustinian Todea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With his leg Lorenz Rehm managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Cornetu CS's Ionel Aanuţei fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 46 minutes into the game, Hlincea's Sorin Brânzaș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihnea Erbașu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octav Mateescu was the one to do the kick off. Vasile Chivulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Mihnea Erbașu made a huge save. In the 59th minute Iustinian Todea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenz Rehm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenz Rehm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Minteuan's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. A collision led to Hlincea getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Esteban Hotz hit a great ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Iustinian Todea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cornetu CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustinian Todea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bogdan Neacșu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Joel Runberg, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Iustinian Todea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Lorenz Rehm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenz Rehm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustinian Todea's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Mihnea Erbașu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eric Minteuan kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Joel Runberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihnea Erbașu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Eric Minteuan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorenz Rehm was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. If Ionel Aanuţei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hlincea's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
