Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristi Zafiu started the match with the kick off. Eusebiu Pârvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Minteuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebiu Pârvan made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Iustinian Todea sent off a good shot on target. Robert Enciu's late challenge caught a FC CFR Cluj's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Enciu helped the player get up and apologised. Robert Enciu hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Radu Melinescu took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihnea Erbașu. Mihnea Erbașu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Cornetu CS's Robert Enciu got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Cornetu CS's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Nedelea came free, but Mihnea Erbașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihnea Erbașu came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by FC CFR Cluj's Toader Nedelea. But to his dismay, Toader Nedelea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Eusebiu Pârvan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebiu Puiu's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Eusebiu Pârvan had great luck who in the 38thth minute grab hold of the ball when Eusebiu Puiu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 41 minutes into the match, Cornetu CS's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Zafiu came free, but Mihnea Erbașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC CFR Cluj's Eusebiu Pârvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Puiu in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebiu Puiu was the one to do the kick off. Eusebiu Pârvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Todea in the 52nd minute of the match. Eric Minteuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Pârvan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC CFR Cluj's zone, Ionel Aanuţei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebiu Pârvan came out of the goal and Ionel Aanuţei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Cornetu CS getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Eusebiu Puiu hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Eusebiu Puiu fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Eric Minteuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Pârvan having to interfere. Eusebiu Puiu succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. After 78 minutes of play, Cornetu CS's Eusebiu Puiu made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebiu Pârvan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the match, Cornetu CS's goalkeeper Mihnea Erbașu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toader Nedelea. A collision led to FC CFR Cluj getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Radu Melinescu hit a great ball. Iustinian Todea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebiu Puiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Pârvan having to interfere. Eusebiu Pârvan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cornetu CS's Iustinian Todea shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-3 in the ordered_time% minute.
