Petre Sucigan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Pârvan having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Leontin Pârcălab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pivniceni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leontin Pârcălab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Pivniceni's Eusebiu Pârvan threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leontin Pârcălab, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
