Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viorel Moromete started the match with the kick off. Aristide Rainea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Eusebiu Durbac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4 minutes into the match, Biscan's goalkeeper Eusebiu Durbac had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristide Rainea. 6 minutes into the game, Biscan's Dacian Ciobanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doru Bădiță made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Biscan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Felix Carabulea scored to the left of an out of position Eusebiu Durbac, making the score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Gorunescu got free with Eusebiu Durbac in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusebiu Durbac was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Aristide Rainea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aristide Rainea really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Isac Oncescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doru Bădiță having to interfere. Dacian Caciulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doru Bădiță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dacian Caciulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. After 23 played minutes Soimii Negrii Bucuresti got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Gorunescu. Aristide Rainea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Eusebiu Durbac made a huge save. If Viorel Moromete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebiu Durbac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Văcărescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristide Rainea got free with Eusebiu Durbac in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Soimii Negrii Bucuresti defense, Dacian Caciulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doru Bădiță. The Soimii Negrii Bucuresti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doru Bădiță should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Biscan's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Carabulea came free, but Eusebiu Durbac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelian Văcărescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Isac Oncescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biscan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Oncescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Carabulea's late challenge caught a Biscan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Carabulea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Dacian Ciobanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelian Văcărescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Eusebiu Durbac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionuț Mugur was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, one of Biscan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Biscan. Biscan's Dacian Ciobanu got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Biscan got a freekick which was hit by Filip Berevoescu. 78 minutes into the match, Biscan's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Văcărescu came free, but Eusebiu Durbac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Dacian Caciulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biscan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dacian Caciulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Biscan's Dacian Ciobanu got a free kick in the 86th minute. Dacian Ciobanu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Soimii Negrii Bucuresti's Adam Anastasiu tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 98 minutes into the game, Soimii Negrii Bucuresti's Marcel Gorunescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusebiu Durbac made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Biscan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Soimii Negrii Bucuresti.
