Laurențiu Mardarie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laurențiu Mardarie made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Sebastian Stârcea sent off a good shot on target. After 18 played minutes, NightOwls's Bogdan Stejaru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baldomero Terciero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NightOwls reached it. Cosmin Brad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laurențiu Mardarie came out and tried to block the shot, but Cosmin Brad slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the game, Costin Hârtopanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NightOwls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sanatatea FC the free kick. In the 25th minute, Costin Hârtopanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Doloman charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Doloman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, NightOwls's Corneliu Boieru got a free kick in the 40th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Grigore Dobrițoiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laurențiu Mardarie. Grigore Dobrițoiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Sanatatea FC's Mădălin Vârjean was substituted for Dorel Ducu. Baldomero Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Apetroaiei in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Grigore Dobrițoiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laurențiu Mardarie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Gheorghe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigore Dobrițoiu in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurențiu Mardarie saved NightOwls from getting behind. Nicu Gheorghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicu Gheorghe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurențiu Mardarie having to interfere. Grigore Dobrițoiu scored 5-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laurențiu Mardarie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gavril Bianu fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NightOwls's protests and gave Gavril Bianu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sanatatea FC booed when NightOwls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Bianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Grigore Dobrițoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurențiu Mardarie was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 81stth minute of the game Grigore Dobrițoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NightOwls's Laurențiu Mardarie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Nicu Gheorghe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petruț Botescu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Eusebiu Urdea struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Laurențiu Mardarie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanatatea FC. In the 98th minute Grigore Dobrițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Mardarie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
