Dacian Caciulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Liviu Boieraș made a huge save. The supporters of Biscan booed when Cirnesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Şteţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Biscan getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Iordache Pușcariu hit a great ball. Biscan's Eusebiu Durbac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Enache in the 12th minute of play. Dacian Caciulescu struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Liviu Boieraș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biscan. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dacian Caciulescu during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Biscan's Dacian Caciulescu got a free kick in the 21st minute. Viorel Moromete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cirnesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Biscan the free kick. Biscan's Viorel Moromete got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Isac Oncescu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Biscan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isac Oncescu couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes Cirnesti got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Odobescu. Eusebiu Durbac made an important save on a dangerous shot by Codruț Şuplăcan in the 69th minute. Eusebiu Durbac was a little too slow when Cristian Enache got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 4-1. Liviu Boieraș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Caciulescu in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cirnesti's zone, Isac Oncescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liviu Boieraș came out of the goal and Isac Oncescu tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cirnesti's goalkeeper Liviu Boieraș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Biscan's Viorel Moromete was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Liviu Boieraș in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Biscan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
