The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihnea Crăcană showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigore Dobrițoiu in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihnea Crăcană saved TRICOLORUL from getting behind. The Sanatatea FC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Sanatatea FC's Grigore Dobrițoiu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by TRICOLORUL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eusebiu Urdea was slow to take the kick. During this time Sanatatea FC's players had a chance to rest. Cristinel Murgoci was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 21 minutes into the game, Grigore Dobrițoiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mihnea Crăcană was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the game, Dan Calomfirescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Baldomero Terciero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. TRICOLORUL's Mihnea Crăcană played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Dobrițoiu in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Sanatatea FC's Sebastian Stârcea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihnea Crăcană narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Sanatatea FC's Grigore Dobrițoiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihnea Crăcană made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Mihnea Crăcană showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Dobrițoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Sanatatea FC made a substitution. Nicu Gheorghe replaced Leonard Doloman. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Onuț stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Cosmin Brad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanatatea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosmin Brad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihnea Crăcană breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Grigore Dobrițoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience was convinced that Grigore Dobrițoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihnea Crăcană was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Nicu Gheorghe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Crăcană having to interfere. After some careless play in the TRICOLORUL defense, Grigore Dobrițoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihnea Crăcană. The TRICOLORUL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihnea Crăcană should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Tudor Patrichi in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sanatatea FC's Mădălin Vârjean. In the 87th minute, Grigore Dobrițoiu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sanatatea FC's Grigore Dobrițoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mihnea Crăcană was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Mugur Suluțiu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mugur Suluțiu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. After a rather tough play, TRICOLORUL's Dan Calomfirescu got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 1-8 when Grigore Dobrițoiu sped through TRICOLORUL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihnea Crăcană.
