The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernest Cârju to strike the kick off in the second half. Costel Teofil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Firoiu in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 97th minute Martin Achifoaiei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costel Teofil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Eusebiu Hâncu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC viitorul braila's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebiu Hâncu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olimpiu Buciuceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC viitorul braila's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support.
