Manole Petre hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Cristi Burca made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Andrei Lucan sent off a good shot on target. Isac Moșoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC viitorul braila defense, Vintilă Apostu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costel Teofil. The FC viitorul braila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costel Teofil should have stopped the shot. In the 18th match minute, Noul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Moșoiu to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Noul's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Hrebenciuc came free, but Cristi Burca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, FC viitorul braila's Iacob Contra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristi Burca. Cristi Burca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. A collision led to FC viitorul braila getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Niculae Stroe hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Noul's Octavian Oniga tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Costel Teofil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octavian Oniga went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Cristi Burca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Lucan in the 34th minute of play. Cristi Burca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iacob Contra went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Corneliu Panaiteanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costel Teofil was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When Isac Moșoiu came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Noul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isac Moșoiu couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Corneliu Panaiteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Lucan in the 47th minute of play forced Noul's goalkeeper Cristi Burca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Corneliu Panaiteanu made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Niculae Stroe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rareș Duca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC viitorul braila's Costel Teofil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Moșoiu in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, FC viitorul braila's Costel Teofil got control of the ball when Corneliu Panaiteanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Andrei Lucan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristi Burca. Noul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Lucan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Costel Teofil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Panaiteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrei Lucan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Burca having to interfere. Costel Teofil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Panaiteanu in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to FC viitorul braila getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ernest Cârju hit a great ball. The supporters of FC viitorul braila booed when Noul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corneliu Panaiteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Isac Moșoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Nicolaescu got free with Costel Teofil in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Manole Petre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, Noul's Isac Moșoiu made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Costel Teofil was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Manole Petre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Costel Teofil. That made the score 3-4 in the 90 minute of play. The Noul players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
