Octavian Armeanca made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Andrei Lucan sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the game, Cristi Cercelescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costel Teofil came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian Rednic slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 92nd minute. Joita UFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
