Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcu Brumaru kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Cezar Breazu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC AAS Bucuresti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CVUCS POLI the free kick. In the 4th match minute, FC AAS Bucuresti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Breazu to maneuver through the defense. Sorin Coman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dumitru Vrabie's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Dumitru Vrabie's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Sorin Coman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Marcu Brumaru fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC AAS Bucuresti's protests and gave Marcu Brumaru a yellow card for diving instead. Marcu Brumaru kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. CVUCS POLI's Valeriu Răchită played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Zberea in the 18th minute of play. Costică Frânculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Coman having to interfere. Manuel Cupșa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Marcu Brumaru came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the FC AAS Bucuresti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcu Brumaru couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Irinel Leahu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petruț Bulgar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Nechifor Curteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, FC AAS Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Vrabie came free, but Sorin Coman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sorin Coman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costică Frânculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The supporters of CVUCS POLI booed when FC AAS Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Brumaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sorin Coman came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by CVUCS POLI's Panait Filip. But to his dismay, Panait Filip quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When CVUCS POLI's Dumitru Vrabie in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC AAS Bucuresti's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to FC AAS Bucuresti getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Anton Schipor hit a great ball. When Panait Filip came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the CVUCS POLI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panait Filip couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dumitru Vrabie in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sorin Coman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dumitru Vrabie in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sorin Coman saved FC AAS Bucuresti from getting behind. Panait Filip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sorin Coman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sorin Coman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Vrabie in the 92nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Dumitru Vrabie put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sorin Coman. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CVUCS POLI fully deserved thier win.
