Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. A wasted opportunity for Peterlaka CS. When Albert Romulus came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Peterlaka CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Romulus couldn't finish the play. Albert Romulus might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorel Cubleșan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert Romulus ran back to his position shaking his head. Ilasi CSS's Dorel Cubleșan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Tobă in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Luca Tobă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Cubleșan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luca Tobă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorel Cubleșan was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Romeo Roșeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Mihăilescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 53rd minute of the match Ilasi CSS got a corner. Peterlaka CS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Radu Isopescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ilasi CSS's Radu Isopescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Romeo Roșeanu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 56 minutes into the game, Albert Romulus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dorel Cubleșan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th match minute, Peterlaka CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurențiu Stere to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Albert Romulus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Cubleșan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Romulus in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorel Cubleșan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Peterlaka CS's Luca Tobă in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ilasi CSS's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Peterlaka CS booed when Ilasi CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Roşca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorel Cubleșan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Lozovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
