Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gheorghe Zbârciog made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, ★Red Dogs★ ABY's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Posteucă came free, but Gelu Bănățeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Stelea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantin Comșa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Şneapotă having to interfere. When Daniel Posteucă fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARUSSI TEAM's protests and gave Daniel Posteucă a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ★Red Dogs★ ABY booed when MARUSSI TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Posteucă didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Posteucă in the 12th minute of play forced ★Red Dogs★ ABY's goalkeeper Gelu Bănățeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gelu Bănățeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Stelea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cazimir Şneapotă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Petcu in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, ★Red Dogs★ ABY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Şoimu to maneuver through the defense. If Eric Stelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Posteucă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gelu Bănățeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Stelea, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Gheorghe Zbârciog's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cazimir Şneapotă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Gheorghe Zbârciog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cazimir Şneapotă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gheorghe Zbârciog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gheorghe Zbârciog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cazimir Şneapotă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, ★Red Dogs★ ABY's Gheorghe Zbârciog dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Daniel Posteucă made the kick off in the second half. Gheorghe Zbârciog struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Cazimir Şneapotă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★Red Dogs★ ABY. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Videanu during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of MARUSSI TEAM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ★Red Dogs★ ABY:s goal. Cazimir Şneapotă went to the wrong direction when Eric Şoimu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Cazimir Şneapotă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Zbârciog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelu Bănățeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Posteucă in the 82nd minute of the match. ★Red Dogs★ ABY's Gelu Bănățeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Posteucă in the 84th minute of play. Gheorghe Zbârciog's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cazimir Şneapotă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Mihnea Herea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Bănățeanu having to interfere. If Eric Stelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vali Albuț charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vali Albuț the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vali Albuț kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Eric Stelea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Gelu Bănățeanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 97th minute, Eric Stelea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ★Red Dogs★ ABY's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
