Though ot was a great shot Debrecen RO's keeper Traian Croitoru was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 33rd minute Daniel Posteucă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Traian Croitoru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Cristian Vaştag who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MARUSSI TEAM's Cazimir Şneapotă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eric Stelea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Traian Croitoru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Posteucă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Debrecen RO's Traian Croitoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Posteucă in the 44th minute of play. When Marian Aldea fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Debrecen RO's protests and gave Marian Aldea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Debrecen RO getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Vaştag stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Victor Lupoaia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. After 62 minutes, Calistrat Bântu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARUSSI TEAM and the Debrecen RO players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was Damian Hurmuzescu who took care of the corner kick. Cazimir Şneapotă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Vaştag in the 80th minute. Traian Croitoru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Posteucă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
