Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nichifor Albescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Zbârciog recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albert Oprița. Gheorghe Zbârciog showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 6 played minutes Argeș FCV got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Durbac. 9 minutes into the match, ★Red Dogs★ ABY's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Comarnescu came free, but Gelu Bănățeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ★Red Dogs★ ABY's Gheorghe Zbârciog got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurel Petcu's late challenge caught a Argeș FCV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurel Petcu helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes ★Red Dogs★ ABY got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Petcu. After 19 played minutes ★Red Dogs★ ABY got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Petcu. Florin Comarnescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Ernest Maleș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gheorghe Zbârciog got free with Albert Oprița in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gelu Bănățeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Cosariu in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Cosariu in the 35th minute of play forced ★Red Dogs★ ABY's goalkeeper Gelu Bănățeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gelu Bănățeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Boroș in the 37th minute of the match. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Gheorghe Zbârciog made the kick off in the second half. Constantin Comșa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Oprița having to interfere. If Florin Comarnescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Comarnescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Gelu Bănățeanu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 68th minute, Nichifor Albescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argeș FCV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Vali Albuț hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florin Comarnescu got free with Gelu Bănățeanu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th match minute, ★Red Dogs★ ABY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vali Albuț to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Nichifor Albescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argeș FCV's supporters rose to their feet, but Nichifor Albescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Bănățeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 84 minutes of play, Argeș FCV's Nichifor Albescu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gelu Bănățeanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nichifor Albescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Bănățeanu having to interfere. If Constantin Comșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Constantin Comșa came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the ★Red Dogs★ ABY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantin Comșa couldn't finish the play. Argeș FCV were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
