Spectators: 7239 (Terracing: 5639, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Emil Butuc started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Edgar Gheară charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Gheară the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgar Gheară hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcu Dragalina in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Meleșcanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paul Meleșcanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Butuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, FC NIGHT BIRD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Encuțoiu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandu Aluneanu got free with Lucrețiu Puric in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC NIGHT BIRD's Paul Meleșcanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Butuc in the 31st minute of play. Marcu Dragalina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Meleșcanu having to make a save. Emil Butuc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Meleșcanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcu Dragalina's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Paul Meleșcanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcu Dragalina went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The FC NIGHT BIRD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Calarasi were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marian Drăgoi made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Calarasi's Calistrat Negulici got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Lucrețiu Puric showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Brezoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Basarab Onete kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Paul Meleșcanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Butuc's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Marian Drăgoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes FC NIGHT BIRD got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Gheară. In the 63rd minute, Marcu Dragalina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Marcu Dragalina got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. FC NIGHT BIRD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emil Butuc 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. In the 70th match minute, Deportivo Calarasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Bîlbă to maneuver through the defense. Marian Drăgoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC NIGHT BIRD's Paul Meleșcanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save FC NIGHT BIRD from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, FC NIGHT BIRD's goalkeeper Paul Meleșcanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcu Dragalina. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Calarasi's zone, Marian Drăgoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Puric came out of the goal and Marian Drăgoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basarab Onete kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Paul Meleșcanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Butuc in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of FC NIGHT BIRD booed when Deportivo Calarasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Bîlbă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Drăgoi in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucrețiu Puric prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gelu Bîlbă hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deportivo Calarasi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
