The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinand Ailioaiei to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Steaua Bucuresti FC's zone, Daniel Breazu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlad Paulescu came out of the goal and Daniel Breazu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vlad Paulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Ailioaiei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Eusebiu Ghelmegean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vlad Paulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ciureni UFC made a substitution. Eliodor Goma replaced Eusebiu Ghelmegean. Vlad Paulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliodor Goma in the 70th minute of the match. Vlad Paulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinand Ailioaiei went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.
