Nechifor Onaca started the match with the kick off. 0-1 became the score in the 4th minute when Ilie Bântu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Ilie Bântu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Liviu. FC UNIREA Custelnic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilie Bântu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 34thth minute of the game David Sinulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Custelnic's Dan Liviu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the game, David Sinulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Dan Liviu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Liviu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilie Bântu's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When Nechifor Onaca fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC UNIREA Custelnic's protests and gave Nechifor Onaca a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC UNIREA Custelnic's Nechifor Onaca got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Dan Liviu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Bântu in the 45th minute of play. Dan Liviu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Bântu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Sinulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ilie Bântu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Liviu having to interfere. In the 57th minute David Sinulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Liviu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC UNIREA Custelnic's Dan Liviu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Sinulescu in the 59th minute of play. Ilie Bântu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Dan Liviu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 66 minutes, Valer Chifan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC UNIREA Custelnic and the JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valer Chifan kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilie Bântu got free with Dan Liviu in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 played minutes JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Udup. In the 72nd minute, David Mușătescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC UNIREA Custelnic's zone, Ilie Bântu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Liviu came out of the goal and Ilie Bântu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC UNIREA Custelnic's Dan Liviu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Sinulescu in the 79th minute of play. Dan Liviu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Sinulescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 81 minute of play. In the 85th minute Nechifor Onaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Pacuraru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, FC UNIREA Custelnic's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nae Hulubei fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 92 played minutes, JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia's Nae Hulubei shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dan Liviu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia reached it. Ilie Bântu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Dan Liviu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nechifor Onaca was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 96th minute, Nechifor Onaca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC UNIREA Custelnic.
