Horea Tarcu came out of the goal and Maxim Toader tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maxim Toader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Tarcu having to interfere. Virgil Leucuța hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, FK MERCEDES's Iustinian Oprea broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Virgil Leucuța kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Maxim Toader managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK MERCEDES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxim Toader was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Virgil Leucuța hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes, FK MERCEDES's Iustinian Oprea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Horea Tarcu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FK MERCEDES reached it. When Vali Nenciu fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Székelyföld Futball Klub's protests and gave Vali Nenciu a yellow card for diving instead. Horea Tarcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Șerbulescu in the 34th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Maxim Toader's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horea Tarcu was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The supporters of FK MERCEDES booed when Székelyföld Futball Klub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. The corner led Székelyföld Futball Klub's Irinel Turcu to a score. 1-1 in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the match, FK MERCEDES's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Ciocâlteu came free, but Ionel Rădoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicu Ruşdea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ionel Rădoi having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristinel Șerbulescu in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Tarcu saved Székelyföld Futball Klub from getting behind. Horea Tarcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Șerbulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxim Toader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Tarcu having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Székelyföld Futball Klub's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Maxim Toader fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Horea Tarcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Șerbulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. In the 98th minute, Robert Astafiei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FK MERCEDES were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
