When Calistrat Moșoiu fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buhai's protests and gave Calistrat Moșoiu a yellow card for diving instead. Calistrat Moșoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Calistrat Moșoiu was shown his second yellow card after 4 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 5 played minutes Buhai got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Moșoiu. Aurelian Ponor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Chirilă having to interfere. Tudor Nandriș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Nandriș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ştefan Goiceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Eliodor Neaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tudor Nandriș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Goiceanu having to interfere. After 27 minutes of play, Buhai's Augustin Costa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ştefan Goiceanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ştefan Goiceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Nandriș, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Nicodim Tomescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ştefan Goiceanu. Szatmar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicodim Tomescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Tudor Nandriș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Goiceanu having to interfere. If Augustin Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ştefan Goiceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Nandriș in the 45th minute of the match. Augustin Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Coman to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Ştefan Goiceanu managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Buhai's Tudor Nandriș fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tudor Nandriș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ştefan Goiceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Szatmar getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Codrin Amărculesei hit a great ball. Szatmar's Ştefan Goiceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Szatmar from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, Buhai's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Coman came free, but Dacian Chirilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Coman struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Dacian Chirilă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szatmar. Dacian Chirilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Coman in the 80th minute of the match. Augustin Costa struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ştefan Goiceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buhai. If Aurelian Ponor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Buhai's Tudor Nandriș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ştefan Goiceanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Aurelian Ponor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mihail Aalexoaiei was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 97 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, one of Buhai:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
