Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Irinel Enișteanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vali Dinu scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silviu Racoviță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Albescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Sima having to interfere. Robert Sima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Irinel Enișteanu's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valeriu Ghionea during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sinleani getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Valeriu Ghionea hit a great ball. After 18 minutes, Augustin Călimanescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sinleani and the Coveiul players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivan Puiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 played minutes, Sinleani's Marian Nedelcea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silviu Racoviță came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sinleani reached it. With his leg Robert Sima managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Coveiul's Martin Albescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 34 minutes, Irinel Enișteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coveiul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Irinel Enișteanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Irinel Enișteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Șerban Ciurea's late challenge caught a Sinleani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Șerban Ciurea helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Coveiul got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Ciurea. Gelu Ionaș missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 49 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Silviu Racoviță right hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vali Dinu to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Enișteanu in the 55th minute of play forced Sinleani's goalkeeper Robert Sima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Sima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irinel Enișteanu in the 58th minute of the match. With a little luck, Coveiul's Silviu Racoviță got control of the ball when Ivan Puiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silviu Racoviță made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Puiu in the 65th minute. After 67 minutes, Ivan Puiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. After 93 minutes of play, Coveiul's Martin Albescu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
