Laurențiu Deliman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Mădălin Chircu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coveiul and the LIverpool FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Coveiul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Chircu to maneuver through the defense. Dorel Zbanţ did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Silviu Racoviță 19 minutes into the match. Laurențiu Deliman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Albescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Irinel Enișteanu came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Coveiul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irinel Enișteanu couldn't finish the play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcel Nae made a kick off. Emanuel Mahonea kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Martin Albescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurențiu Deliman having to interfere. Dorel Zbanţ might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silviu Racoviță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dorel Zbanţ ran back to his position shaking his head. Laurențiu Deliman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Albescu in the 62nd minute. Silviu Racoviță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Nae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Martin Albescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laurențiu Deliman. LIverpool FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Albescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Laurențiu Deliman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes in the game, Irinel Enișteanu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Laurențiu Deliman having to interfere. Irinel Enișteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
