Leonard Bucuță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costică Mârza having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Ciprian Goiciu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pogonestii CS's Adam Ostoici. Adam Ostoici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costel Cinteză's late challenge caught a Pogonestii CS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in CSU LOVE's zone, Leonard Bucuță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costică Mârza came out of the goal and Leonard Bucuță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Doru Arvinte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Costică Mârza. CSU LOVE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doru Arvinte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. David Druga kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Leonard Bucuță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Claudiu Cioculescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Costică Mârza. The goal made the score 2-1. Cristinel Hârțan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Pogonestii CS's Adam Ostoici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Surdilă in the 42nd minute of play. Edgar Bota lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in CSU LOVE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After 51 played minutes Pogonestii CS got a freekick which was hit by David Drăucean. Costică Mârza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Țepeluș in the 56th minute of play. Costică Mârza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Cioculescu in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Leonard Bucuță made a precise shot to the right of Costică Mârza. CSU LOVE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 65th minute, Doru Arvinte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costică Mârza was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Adam Surdilă kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Adam Surdilă charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Surdilă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pogonestii CS's Leonard Bucuță quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eugen Voinescu, made in the 79th minute of the game. Costică Mârza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Arvinte, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Costică Mârza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Bucuță in the 84th minute of the match. Eugen Voinescu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th match minute, Pogonestii CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sever Buzoianu to maneuver through the defense. Ciprian Goiciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pogonestii CS fully deserved thier win.
