Spectators: 7526 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonard Bucuță took the kick off in the first half of the match. Adam Ostoici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Chevereșan in the 2nd minute of the match. Doru Arvinte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silviu Leucuța having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandru Gliga got free with Adam Ostoici in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pogonestii CS's Doru Arvinte got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Gelu Poplăcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doru Arvinte in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silviu Leucuța prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Doru Arvinte sped through Deparati AC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silviu Leucuța. Silviu Leucuța didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Bucuță went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute Horia Vidican shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Ostoici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Deparati AC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Nechifor Bunescu hit a great ball. After 39 played minutes Pogonestii CS got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Hârțan. Silviu Leucuța stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doru Arvinte's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Doru Arvinte made a precise shot to the right of Silviu Leucuța. Deparati AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The supporters of Deparati AC booed when Pogonestii CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Poplăcan didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horia Vidican was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Pogonestii CS got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Frânculescu. Adam Ostoici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Vidican, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Deparati AC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! After 64 played minutes Deparati AC got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Chevereșan. Silviu Leucuța showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Bucuță in the 69th minute of the match. Silviu Leucuța came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Pogonestii CS's Gelu Poplăcan. But to his dismay, Gelu Poplăcan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The supporters of Deparati AC booed when Pogonestii CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Poplăcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Pogonestii CS's Leonard Bucuță slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silviu Leucuța. That made the score 0-8 after 81 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Deparati AC defense, Doru Arvinte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silviu Leucuța. The Deparati AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silviu Leucuța should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Pogonestii CS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deparati AC.
