The tension between the Rapid CFR and the F.C.Liverpool players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of F.C.Liverpool booed when Rapid CFR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Ţirpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Filip Porumboiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ion Ştoia made a kick off. George Grozăvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Goșa in the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Rapid CFR's Bogdan Goșa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Grozăvescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
