After 3 played minutes Axi Barbershop got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Peter. After some careless play in the Axi Barbershop defense, Costel Uncu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Pâslaru. The Axi Barbershop fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Pâslaru should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute, Adrian Zdrenghea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Pâslaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Coidum, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Felix Fărcășan charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Fărcășan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felix Fărcășan hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Troaca got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Pumnu. In the 23rd match minute, Axi Barbershop was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Fărcășan to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Costel Uncu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Troaca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 31st minute, Mihăiţă Mîțu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Iustin Coidum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Troaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Coidum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Pâslaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 34 played minutes Axi Barbershop got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Suciu. The supporters of Troaca booed when Axi Barbershop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Mâinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Axi Barbershop's Gabriel Pâslaru got control of the ball when Costel Uncu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Troaca's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Mîțu came free, but Leonard Dragu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Mihăiţă Mîțu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonard Dragu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. During the 47th minute of the match Mădălin Moldovan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mădălin Moldovan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mădălin Moldovan kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Adrian Zdrenghea made the kick off in the second half. Axi Barbershop's Gabriel Pâslaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Uncu in the 55th minute of play. Nistor Peter hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Costel Uncu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Uncu in the 65th minute of play forced Axi Barbershop's goalkeeper Gabriel Pâslaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes, Sebastian Minulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Axi Barbershop and the Troaca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabriel Pâslaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Uncu in the 70th minute of play. Iustin Coidum took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Pâslaru. Gabriel Pâslaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Coidum in the 81st minute of play forced Axi Barbershop's goalkeeper Gabriel Pâslaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihăiţă Mîțu during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Alex Văleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Ioneasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gabriel Pâslaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Zdrenghea hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Axi Barbershop's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
