In the 11th match minute, ProStatic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Ţăranu to maneuver through the defense. Vintilă Logofătu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Denis Nicopol. ProStatic's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ion Ştoia in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Nicopol saved ProStatic from getting behind. After 22 minutes of play, F.C.Liverpool's Filip Porumboiu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Nicopol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denis Nicopol made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Filip Porumboiu sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Iustin Junilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Grozăvescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ProStatic's zone, Filip Porumboiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Nicopol came out of the goal and Filip Porumboiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ProStatic's Valer Iulian got a free kick in the 35th minute. Filip Porumboiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Denis Nicopol made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, ProStatic's goalkeeper Denis Nicopol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Porumboiu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Ştoia in the 45th minute of play forced ProStatic's goalkeeper Denis Nicopol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Nicopol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Ştoia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ion Ştoia to make the kick off. Iustin Junilă hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Denis Nicopol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Porumboiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Iustin Junilă in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
