In the 34th minute of the match CSU LOVE got a corner. Deparati AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Surdilă ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on CSU LOVE's corner Adam Surdilă fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silviu Leucuța quite easily take care of the ball. David Druga's late challenge caught a Deparati AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Druga helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CSU LOVE's David Druga got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes, Deparati AC's Codruț Milescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Costică Mârza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deparati AC reached it. Costică Mârza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Gliga in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Deparati AC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Petriceanu came free, but Silviu Leucuța reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silviu Leucuța took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Surdilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0.
