Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Bucuță started the match with the kick off. When Doru Arvinte came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Pogonestii CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doru Arvinte couldn't finish the play. George Grozăvescu was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Leonard Bucuță capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonard Bucuță really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Leonard Bucuță was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Pogonestii CS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. F.C.Liverpool:s George Grozăvescu showed great skill when he stopped Doru Arvinte:s penalty. 10 minutes into the match, Doru Arvinte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Grozăvescu. F.C.Liverpool's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doru Arvinte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Doru Arvinte succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Doru Arvinte was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, F.C.Liverpool's George Grozăvescu got control of the ball when Doru Arvinte tried to sneak it across the goal line. George Grozăvescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Bucuță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristinel Hârțan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Grozăvescu having to interfere. Ion Ştoia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Ostoici having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ion Ştoia to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Doru Arvinte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Grozăvescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Grozăvescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Arvinte, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gelu Poplăcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. George Grozăvescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Bucuță in the 60th minute of play forced F.C.Liverpool's goalkeeper George Grozăvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leontin Bivolaru made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pogonestii CS's Panait Țepeluș. 4-0 became the score in the 64th minute when Leonard Bucuță elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Pogonestii CS's Gelu Poplăcan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Grozăvescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 81 minutes into the game, Ion Ştoia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Adam Ostoici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. George Grozăvescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Bucuță went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. F.C.Liverpool's George Grozăvescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Arvinte in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doru Arvinte in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Grozăvescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doru Arvinte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonard Bucuță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pogonestii CS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
